HBS

Specialising in vehicle restraint systems and traffic management services

Established in 2003, HBS specialises in vehicle restraint systems (VRS) and traffic management services.

HBS provides a comprehensive VRS service across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland including: scheme design and specification, supply and installation of VRS, inspection and testing of existing VRS installations, and repairs to damaged and defective VRS installations. It is the VRS market leader in Northern Ireland and Scotland, and the market leader in traffic management services in Northern Ireland.

Other services include civil and structural engineering, sign supports, and noise and environmental barriers.

HBS is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO45001 certified, and holds NHSS 2B, 2C, 5B, 10B, 12A, 12B, 12D, 13, 19A and 20 certification.

Headquartered in Belfast, HBS has more than 130 employees, and offices and depots in four locations across Northern Ireland and Scotland. The company was acquired by Chevron in 2021.

A404 Resurfacing

Could I say a big thank you to yourselves and to all your crews which were on site at the A404 Resurfacing scheme last night. I have spoken to the Tarmac site supervisor from the Chieveley depot this morning who was very appreciative of how helpful and how good it was to work with the crew that was on site.
